Hi Polina, hope you are loving being a mum and I loved reading about you for a change! I love biographys but especially auto-biographies and I wonder if you've ever read "The Rainbow Comes And Goes" by Lady Diana Cooper? It's part of a trilogy and as she grew up in Britain's aristocracy just before the two World Wars, then married someone who her father totally disapproved of (but became Ambassador to France), it's a fascinating social commentary as well as a poignant reminder that her generation lost so many of their most talented young men. Think Downton Abbey told from the point of view of just one sister. And, even better, as I say, it's a trilogy! Then there's a book of letters to her beloved son to follow.
